Basil – Thai

Exotic, fragrant, and wonderfully versatile, Thai Basil is a must-have for Southeast Asian cooking. Its narrow, bright green serrated leaves and sturdy purple stems are perfect for infusing intense flavour into curries, soups, and stir-fries. Spikes of dark violet flowers add an ornamental touch while the aromatic leaves fill your garden or kitchen with a fresh, spicy scent.

Where: Well-drained soil or a pot in full sun—ideal for a windowsill, conservatory, or a sunny, sheltered garden spot.
When: Plant after the last frost to ensure strong growth.

Care
Watering: Keep well watered until established and during dry periods, but avoid waterlogging.
Protection: Shield plants from frost, slugs, and snails.
