Growing Instructions

• Spacing: Plant 30cm apart to allow room for full hearts to form.

• Positioning: Choose a sheltered but sunny spot with well-drained soil.

• Watering: Keep well watered until established and during dry spells to prevent bitterness.

• Succession Planting: Sow or plant every 3 weeks for a continuous harvest of fresh, crunchy lettuces.

• Revive Trick: If leaves start to wilt after cutting, pop them into a bowl of iced water — they’ll perk right back up!

• Pest Control: Protect from slugs and snails with organic barriers or night checks.

• Harvest Hint: Pick just before eating for the best texture and flavour — fresher than anything from the shops!
