Mini Munch Cucumber
A compact indoor variety producing loads of small, crisp, snack-sized cucumbers with amazing flavour. All-female, so no need to worry about pollination — perfect for picking straight from the plant and snacking!
Harvest
June to November — pick when cucumbers are up to 10cm long and the tip changes from pointed to rounded.
Growing Instructions
• Planting: 45cm apart in well-prepared soil, sunny (above 16°C) and sheltered.
• Position: Can grow indoors, in a greenhouse, or in a sunny spot on the patio once all frosts are gone.
• Watering: Keep soil moist until established and during dry spells.
• Training: Best grown up a trellis, fence, stake, wire, or string to save space and keep cucumbers straight. Train clockwise up the string, removing side shoots and yellow leaves as needed.
• Feeding: Only feed once the first two cucumbers start to grow.
• Plant Height: Can reach up to 3m depending on conditions.
Top Tips
• Frequent Picking: Regular harvest encourages continuous cropping.
• Space & Support: Training upwards saves space and improves fruit shape.
• Moist Soil: Consistent watering ensures crisp, tasty cucumbers.
• Avoid Farmyard Manure: Chemicals in straw bedding can harm your crop.
