The bright and colourful nasturtium flowers not only look magnificent in the garden but also on the plate, adding a peppery taste to salads. Producing red, yellow and orange flowers in summer and autumn which will scramble over the ground or up a support they are easy to grow. Nasturtiums are a particularly good companion plant in the vegetable garden, repelling whitefly and aphids.

Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in full
sun or partial shade.

Care
Keep well watered until established, and in dry weather.

Harvesting
Pick flowers and leaves as needed, preferably in the morning for the freshest taste. Harvesting encourages more blooms
