Details
(Perennial)

A bushy, woody branched perennial which typically grows to 90cm tall and 60 cm wide. This herb can rival Basil as a partner to tomatoes in all Mediterranean dishes, with its strong and powerful, but warm flavour. Can also be used to make fresh pesto or salad dressings, pizzas or any pasta dish.

Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in well-drained soil or compost, in full sun.

Care
Keep well watered until established, then only during dry spells. Protect from slugs and snails.

Height & Spread:
20 – 30cm × 20 – 40cm.

Harvesting
Harvest leaves using scissors or fingertips, preferably in the morning when the flavours are most intense. Regular harvesting encourages more growth, but avoid removing more than a third of the plant at one time
