RAINBOW CHARD
Each plug contains 5–10 plants.
With a stunning array of rainbow colours — red, orange, white, pink, cream, yellow, and gold — this variety makes a vibrant addition to any vegetable garden. A prolific grower with a long cropping season, baby leaves are perfect for salads, while mature stems can be lightly steamed or added to stir fries for a delicious sweet crunch.
HARVEST
July to March.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
• Planting: Plant each plug as a bunch in rows 30cm apart in any good garden soil. Do not separate the seedlings, as this can damage the roots.
• Watering: Keep well watered until established and during dry periods.
• Harvesting Method: Begin by picking the outer leaves first, allowing the central foliage to continue developing for ongoing harvests.
TOP TIPS
• Best Flavour: Stems are at their best when lightly boiled and served crisp.
• Leafy Goodness: The mineral- and vitamin-rich leaves can be gently cooked as a tasty alternative to spinach.
