A stunning cherry-red semi-loose leaf lettuce with a small, well-formed head and a crisp green base. Hardy and bolt-resistant, it stands up to the weather while maintaining sweet, crunchy leaves — perfect for salads and garnishes straight from the garden.

Harvest

May to November — pick outer leaves for cut-and-come-again or harvest the whole head when mature.

Growing Instructions

• Planting: Plant 30cm apart in a sunny but sheltered spot with well-drained soil.

• Watering: Keep soil consistently moist until established and during dry periods, avoiding waterlogging.

• Pest Protection: Guard against slugs and snails to keep leaves healthy and pristine.

• Revive Wilted Leaves: Place cut leaves in iced water to bring them back to life.
