

Crown Prince Squash
A stunning grey-blue squash with vibrant orange flesh, perfect for adding colour to your garden. Large, round, and flat fruits weighing 3–4kg with a sweet, rich, nutty flavour. Stores well for months, making it perfect for autumn and winter cooking.
Harvest
September to October — pick when the skin is thick and the stem has dried out.
Growing Instructions
• Planting: 100cm apart in well-drained soil, sunny and sheltered.
• Position: Ideal along a wall, fence, or even a compost heap; can also be trained along a trellis with netting to support the fruits.
• Watering: Keep soil evenly moist until established.
• Space: Takes up lots of room, so give the plant plenty of growing space.
• Tip Pruning: Once the plant has 5–7 leaves, pinch off the tips to encourage fruit growth.
• Feeding: Only feed once 2 or more fruits have formed.
